It’s been a day 😅 Like, I don’t want to believe I need to wear spectacles but sometimes your girl just has to 😭 especially when her (my) eyes are a bit tired later on in the day for a 4pm Hanmer elope 😅 No one wants to agree with their optometrist (or reply to their emails that it’s time for a new eye test…) when they say XYZ but you know… life is for funky glasses, right?! 🤦‍♀️😂

Such a special elopement ✨ D + J were married last week on the marble staircase at the @isaactheatreroyal 💘 When D asked whether I could officiate her elopement there it was a quick YES from me! (D has a strong connection with the building as she often works in the auditorium, and the theatre holds a special space in my heart after all the shows I've performed on its stage over the years.) So grateful to be asked to elope away with these two x

If you know my heart you'll know that I'm as #inclusiveAF 💃🏼 and that's why Kineta Booker Elopement Celebrant as an organisation is a paid-up member of @pridepledge 💘 So, what does this mean? It means that I have access to excellent training and many resources to help me in my work as a celebrant. I attended a Pride Pledge Rainbow Awareness workshop yesterday and came away with so much new knowledge and have already implemented something new into my business: including pronouns into my online booking forms. It's so important for me to know the communities I'm working with on their big day! ✨ I marry ANY two people who LOVE each other 💘

I took the Pride Pledge back in 2022. It's a values-based commitment that organisations and individuals can take to demonstrate their dedication to the safety, visibility and inclusion of the rainbow members of their community and workforce, both internally and externally.
