Elopement with a view and a touch of wine? We adore the team and what they offer at French Peak, French Farm. They are the most beautiful hosts in the most beautiful slice of Banks Peninsula paradise.
Together with Robin + Andie, we’ve found the perfect hosts for your elopement on Banks Peninsula. Just over an hour from Christchurch and 15 minutes from Akaroa, French Peak is the perfect place to have your elopement. An added bonus about this venue is its unique accommodation for two – a wagon! We have two package options for you to choose from.
FRENCH PEAK ELOPEMENT PACKAGES
Package 1: Just the two of you (for couples who would prefer no guests)

- Exclusive two-hour hire of the Cellar Door
- Celebrant – for a personalised ceremony
- Photography (one hour – with the option for longer). You can also add on videography
- Elopement package coordinator
- Wine tasting of four wines
- Who Stole the Grapes puzzle adventure throughout the vineyard
- Tour of the vineyard (if you’d like one)
- Pétanque
- We will provide your two witnesses
- Platters additional
- Onsite accommodation additional
Package 2: Cellar Door Ceilidh (for up to 10 guests plus the two of you)
$3199+GST (if applicable)
- Exclusive two-hour hire of the Cellar Door
- Celebrant – for a personalised ceremony
- Photography (one hour – with the option for longer. You can also add on videography)
- Elopement package coordinator
- Wine tasting of four wines

All you need to do is:
- set a date
- decide which package you’d like
- choose something to wear
- apply for your marriage licence
And we’ll take care of the rest!
THE DETAILS:
- maximum of 10 guests (plus the two of you)
- personalised ceremony (Kineta will help you write your vows)
- elopement certificate with your witnesses signatures on it
- keepsake vow booklets
- keepsake ceremony booklet
- photos during ceremony
- 1 hour of photos onsite (this includes the ceremony). You can opt for longer. You can also choose videography as an add-on.
- a sneak-peek of images within two business days of your elopement
- full online gallery with free downloads of your elopement images within 40 business days
- French Peak Package bookings are for Monday – Thursday (not public holidays)
- You can also opt to stay in their onsite accommodation – including a wagon! The French Peak can also sleep up to four people. French Peak also offers excellent catering options. Just ask!

- The price does not include your official marriage licence/certificate.
- There is an $1000 non-refundable deposit to book this elopement package with us.
- There are no rehearsals for elopements.
- We plan your elopement over phone, emails, Zoom etc.
- GST will be added by any vendor who is not GST exempt.
