Elopement with a view? We got you! Big Sky in French Farm is a slice of paradise on Banks Peninsula.

Together with Robin + Andie, we’ve found the perfect spot situated on three acres of beautiful land overlooking Akaroa Harbour. Just over an hour from Christchurch and 15 minutes from Akaroa, Big Sky is the perfect place to have your elopement. The views from Big Sky through the day are vast and tranquil, but it is the night sky and the opportunity to stargaze that makes it really special.

Perhaps we’re just biased, but the Banks Peninsula views are some of the best in New Zealand.

SOUND GOOD?

All you need to do is:

  • set a date
  • organise a couple of witnesses (or Robin + Andie can do that!)
  • choose something to wear
  • apply for your marriage licence

And we’ll take care of the rest!

THE DETAILS:

  • maximum of 10 guests
  • personalised ceremony (Kineta will help you write your vows)
  • elopement certificate with your witnesses signatures on it
  • keepsake vow booklets
  • keepsake ceremony booklet
  • photos during ceremony
  • 1 hour of photos onsite (this includes the ceremony). You can opt for longer. You can also choose videography as an add-on.
  • a sneak-peek of images within two business days of your elopement
  • full online gallery with free downloads of your elopement images within 40 business days
  • Big Sky Elopement Package bookings are for Monday – Thursday (not public holidays)

Elopement (up to 10 guests) $2699* (More than 10 guests? Our Micro Weddings cater for up to 30 guests)

(You can also opt to stay in their onsite accommodation – including two yurts! Big Sky can sleep up to 10 people in different spaces on the property, with each double bedroom having its own bathroom. Big Sky also offers excellent catering options. Just ask!)

The price includes:

  • celebrant – for a personalised ceremony. Mileage included.
  • photography (one hour – with the option for longer). Mileage included.
  • venue hire (the Elopement Package price includes a two-hour booking of Big Sky, but you can opt for longer)
  • elopement package coordinator

*THE FINE PRINT:

  • The price does not include your official marriage licence/certificate.
  • There is an $850 non-refundable deposit to book this elopement package with us.
  • There are no rehearsals for elopements.
  • We plan your elopement over phone, emails, Zoom etc.
  • GST will be added by any vendor who is not GST exempt.
